Jigs and Fixtures
The jig is a tool that guides the cutting (or machining) tool and provides repeat ability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the manufacturing of products while the fixture holds the work in a fixed location. The most common type of jig is the drill jig, which guides the drill bit for creating holes at desired locations.
Intercept assembles a range of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling and ensures they function properly with complex angles or contours. With our jigs and fixtures, we help you reduce the nonproductive time of any mass production process. We use CAD tools (like ProE), and FEA tools (like ANSYS) to design jigs and fixtures.
